The School offers postgraduate degree course in Materials Science and Technology. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and shares with various disciplines like engineering chemistry, physics and mathematics. In advancing the frontiers of knowledge, the School draws upon faculty and students with many diverse backgrounds.

Two-year, Four-Semester M.Tech in Materials Science and Technology with specializations in:

Materials Design and Application (MDA)

Eligibility Criteria :

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Metallurgy, Materials, Mechanical, Production, Civil, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Fibre technology or in any subject in the purview of Applied Physics or Applied Chemistry.

M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Geology or in any subject in the purview of Applied Physics or Applied Chemistry.

The students who have been in the post-B.Sc. four year integrated M.Tech. course. The students of the four-year integrated M.Tech. course will follow this programme on successful completion of the first two years of their course. They will be given the option to choose from the 2 specialisations.
