All the students of MBA Programme will have access to the full-time faculty members of SOMS, distinguished visiting faculty members from the industry as well as from renowned management institutions. The students of MBA Programme would enjoy an effective and moderate student teacher ratio in day to day academic interactions with personal care.

School of Management Sciences provides the following felt necessary for overall development of the aspirants of the management education in the eastern part of the country:

  • Won the 2nd prize by Aniruddha Nath, Arindam Basu, Anirban Kundu & Krishanu Pal at IIMC National Entrepreneur Summit on 24th January, 2009.
  • On 2nd February, 2009, two teams (1st team - Jayanti Sain & Krishanu Pal & 2nd team - Arindam Basu, Tathagatha Patra & MD. Maidul Islam) were selected in the top 10 of TATA UDYAG PORBO and the 2nd team won the 1st prize.
  • Won the 3rd position in Debate competition by Anushree Basu & Mainak Mondal at CII on 25th February, 2009.
  • Won the 2nd prize in Extempore by Sulagna Basak at ISB&M.
  • Won the 2nd prize in Debate competition by Sudip Banerjee & Md. Anis Ahmed at ISB&M.
  • Won the 1st prize in Case Analysis by Arindam Basu & sulagna Basak at ISB&M.
  • Won the 2nd prize in B-plan competition by Saptadip Manna, Md.Anis Ahmed & Arindam Basu at ISB&M.
  • Won 2nd prize in Product Promotion Plan by Rajarsee Sahoo, subhankar Roy & Sudip Banerjee at ISB&M.
  • Won 1st prize by Sourav Chakraborty, Avhijit Biswas & Krishanu Pal and 2nd prize by Saptadip Manna, Pradip Singh & Sudip Banerjee in Finance Game at ISB&M.
