Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in-interview on October 13, 2017 at 11.00 AM, for the following purely temporary post in the Centre of Excellence, IIEST Shibpur.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of post: One (01)
Essential qualification: Indian nationals with First Class M. Tech. / M. E. in Metallurgy/Materials/Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable qualification: Preference should be given to the candidates with prior experience in handling Instron machine and research on fatigue related areas.
Fellowship: Rs. [25,000 (Basic) + 7,500 (30% HRA) + Rs. 300 (MA)] = Rs. 32,800 per month.
Duration: Initial appointment as JRF is for 1 year. On the basis of the performance of the candidate, it may be extended up to maximum 3 years; 1st and 2nd years as JRF (@Rs. 25,000+30% HRA + Rs. 300 (MA) per month) and 3rd year as SRF (@Rs. 28,000+ 30% HRA + Rs. 300 (MA) per month).
How to apply: Competent candidate should bring one hard copy of detailed bio-data, two passport size color photographs and one set of self-attested photocopies of all testimonials during the time of interview. Candidates must also bring all ORIGINAL certificates/mark sheets/testimonials for verification. Candidates are advised to forward a softcopy of their detailed bio data to P.I. Dr. D.
