Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk in-interview on 14th June 2018 at 11.00 am, for the following temporary posts in the department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology, Shibpur, Howrah.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): No of post – One
Essential Qualification: i) M.E./M. Tech in Nanoscience and Technology/Material Science Engineering/Metallurgy and Materials Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 60% marks and
ii) At least two years of post M.E./M. Tech research experience in the field of magnetic material supported by publications in SCI or SCOPUS indexed journals and conference proceedings as on the last date of application.
Desirable Qualification: The research fellow should have expertise in handling instrument XRD, VSM, TGA/DSC, AFM/MFM, etc and adequate working knowledge on their data analysis.
Fellowship: @ Rs. 28,000/- per month + 30%HRA for three years.
Duration: Three years.
Competent Candidate should bring two hard copies of bio-data for submission and original mark sheets and certificates.
Venue of the interview: Office of the Dean (Research and Development), 6th Floor, New Technology Building, IIEST, Shibpur.
