Research Area:
In the beginning, I worked in the area of mathematical modeling of the reproductive hormonal network. We introduced feedback mechanism with delay in the models. Then I started studying another type of network – that is Artificial Neural Network (ANN). I studied different types of ANN like Hopfield, BAM, small world network with short-cut connections, cellular networks etc. I also worked on synchronization of neural oscillation. To validate our theoretical results, we attempted real data analysis of EEG. We applied Nonlinear data analysis tools to different type of data sets- for example, those deriving from musical, foreign exchange, stock exchange, climate area. I am continuing my research works in mathematical ecology and studying external environmental effect like seasonal variation, harvesting, toxicity and pest control use etc. In stochastic models, I studied how the intensity of fluctuation affects persistence and extinction criteria of the species.
