Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in-interview on 5th February 2016 at 12.00 Noon, for the following temporary posts in the Department of Mining Engineering, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah.
Research Assistant: No of posts - Three
Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc in Geology/B.E. in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil/Mining Engineering. Sound academic credentials with consistent high performance in all examinations.
Desirable Qualification: M.Tech degree. Experience of reservoir simulation of CBM and carrying out laboratory experiments with high-pressure gas system preferable. However, that will not preclude otherwise good candidates interested in quality research.
Fellowship: ₹20,000/- (consolidated). Higher fellowship may be given to exceptionally qualified candidates.
Duration: Initially for one year, may be extended.
Venue of the interview: Department of Mining Engineering, IIEST , Shibpur.
Competent Candidate should bring two hard copies bio-data to submit and original mark sheet and certificate.
