Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk in-interview on FRIDAY, 18 AUGUST 2017 at 11.00 A.M., for the following temporary posts in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIEST, Shibpur.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): No of post - ONE
Essential Qualification: First class M.Tech/M.E. Degree in Mechanical Engg. or Applied Mechanics. Only GATE qualified candidates can apply.
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to the candidates having Fracture Mechanics /Elasticity/ Plasticity/Fatigue as Masters' course work or Masters' Thesis.
Fellowship: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA 30% (Rs.8400/-) + MA (Rs.300/-). BRNS and IIEST rules to be followed.
Duration: First year on contract basis, on satisfactory performance, it may extended up to the Project completion period i.e., 31 MARCH 2019.
Competent Candidate should bring two hard copies bio-data to submit and original mark sheets and certificates.
Venue of the interview: Office of the Dean (Research and Development), 6th Floor, New Technology Building, IIEST, Shibpur.
